Read the following case and answer the questions.

Carmine’s, a fast-food restaurant specializing in Italian foods, has experienced declining sales in the last few months. The restaurant, which is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, is located on a heavily travelled main thoroughfare at a traffic light. Parking is limited to on-street parking with city meters. A college with 12,000 students is located nearby. There are three other fast-food restaurants in the immediate area. Two of the three have their own parking areas. Carmine’s has three full-time employees and five part-time employees. The restaurant does not deliver.

Carmine Mussoni, who owns the restaurant, is interested in determining why sales are decreasing and how to improve them. Carmine has hired you to compile helpful marketing information for him. Essentially, Carmine has hired you to be his marketing-information management system.
